Middle School Procedures (Grades 6-8)

A completed application to Solomon Schechter Day School (Middle School) of Nassau County includes:

1. A signed Application for Admission
2. A Student Application
3. A Principal’s Evaluation
4. Three Teacher Evaluation Forms. We require an evaluation from an English teacher, a Math teacher and a Judaic Studies teacher.
5. A signed Release of Records form
6. If you are interested in applying for Financial Assistance, you may do so confidentially by visiting the FACTS Grant and Aid website for more information. 
7. A non-refundable application fee of $100

Transportation

All Nassau and Suffolk students should apply to their local school district for transportation. Your district is required to transport students to any school of your choice within a 15 mile radius of your home. You must request the transportation prior to April 1st the year preceding enrollment and every year thereafter. You may always withdraw the application, you cannot initiate it after April 1st.
