Students will become educated on and understand the importance of fitness and the benefits of the fitness components: cardiovascular fitness, muscular endurance, muscular strength and flexibility.  Students will also be taught the connection between physical activity and learning.  As in all grades, our aim will be to have all students participate in moderate to vigorous physical activity in a safe environment.

Our overall goal for Physical Education is for the students to be safe and enjoy being physically active.  In order to be safe and enjoy physical activity, the students will be concentrating on some of these key ideas: respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, leading, following and again Safety and FUN.
