Statement of Religious Values

Introduction

The Solomon Schechter Board of Education is pleased to present our Statement of Religious Values” to you. This document is the culmination of months of work and is consonant with our Strategic Plan, Goal 2: To strengthen and foster the Jewish atmosphere and culture in our school. Further, it is a document that will help new families as well as current ones to fully understand the meaning of a Schechter school and our affiliation with the Conservative Movement.

One of our greatest strengths is the diversity or our student and parent bodies. It is something we recognize and celebrate every day. It is our greatest hope that this Statement will help guide our community in the further exploration and practice of Conservative Judaism.
